Terms of Service

Styloving is a cloud-based salon management platform with tools for appointment scheduling, client management, staff management, inventory tracking, and online booking pages. The current rollout is focused on salon owner (business) accounts, while clients can book through public booking links.

To use Styloving, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

As a salon owner using Styloving, you are the data controller for your clients' personal data. You are responsible for:

• Ensuring you have a lawful basis (e.g., consent or contract) to collect and process your clients' personal data
• Informing your clients about how their data is used, including through the GDPR consent template in your settings
• Responding to data access, correction, and deletion requests from your clients
• Complying with all applicable data protection laws in your jurisdiction

Users booking through a public salon booking page must provide accurate contact details. Booking data is managed by the salon as data controller, while Styloving processes that data to deliver booking, reminder, and confirmation functionality.

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation
• Use the AI features to process illegal, harmful, or deceptive content
• Impersonate another person or entity

Styloving uses artificial intelligence for features such as catalog import. Content submitted for AI processing is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) and processed per request — it is not stored or used for model training. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated content before saving it.

The Styloving platform, including its design, code, and features, is our intellectual property. You retain ownership of all content you upload to the platform (salon information, service catalogs, client data). By using the platform, you grant us a limited license to host and display your content as needed to provide the service.

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform. We may perform scheduled maintenance with advance notice. We are not liable for any losses resulting from temporary unavailability.

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days to allow for recovery, after which it will be permanently deleted unless required by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Styloving shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be error-free, secure, or meet your specific requirements. AI-generated content is provided for convenience and may contain errors.

Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data, including consent-based analytics and marketing technologies such as Meta Pixel. By using Styloving, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the applicable national law of Belgium. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Brussels, Belgium.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
