Terms of Service
Last updated: July 7, 2026
These Terms explain how Styloving works in plain language: what you can expect from us, what we ask from you, and what happens with billing, data, and account closure. If anything is unclear before you sign up, email admin@styloving.com.
In short
These points cover the questions most salon owners ask before starting a trial.
- You keep ownership of your salon content and client data.
- You can stop using Styloving at any time. Subscription cancellations stop renewal at the end of the current billing period; one-time Lifetime Grow purchases do not renew.
- We may suspend accounts for abuse, fraud, security issues, or serious breaches of the rules below.
- If we make material changes to these Terms, we will notify you before they take effect.
1. Service Description
Styloving is cloud-based salon management software with tools for appointments, staff scheduling, client records, client photos, services, inventory, reporting, online booking pages, reminders, and booking confirmations.
2. Account Registration
To use Styloving, create an account with accurate information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account until you tell us about unauthorized access. Salon subscription billing and client booking deposits are separate flows: paid plans, Lifetime Grow offers, campaign reservations, coupons, and subscription billing are handled through Stripe-hosted billing flows and Styloving billing records; client booking deposits use Stripe Connect and the salon's connected account when the salon enables that feature.
3. Salon Owner Responsibilities
If you use Styloving as a salon owner, you control the client data you enter into the platform. That means you are responsible for:
- Having an appropriate legal basis to collect and use your clients' data
- Getting any consent your business needs before uploading client photos, treatment notes, or sensitive client information
- Giving your clients the notices or consents your business needs
- Handling client requests to access, correct, or delete their data
- Using Styloving in line with the privacy, tax, accounting, anti-fraud, anti-money-laundering, sanctions, and customer-protection laws that apply to your business
- Keeping your own business records, tax filings, receipts, invoices, refunds, chargebacks, and financial reporting accurate and lawful
- Making sure that any payments, online deposits, cash transactions, discounts, refunds, chargebacks, or off-platform transactions handled by your salon comply with the law
- Connecting and maintaining your Stripe account if you want to receive client payments through Stripe Connect
- Configuring clear salon payment terms, deposit percentage, cancellation/refund policy, and automatic refund window when you require online deposits
- Understanding that Styloving platform fees and Stripe processing/Connect fees may be deducted from online booking payments before funds reach your bank account
4. Public Booking Users
People who book through a salon's public booking page must provide accurate contact details. If a salon requires an online deposit, the booking is treated as confirmed only after Stripe reports successful payment and Styloving fulfills the booking. The client pays the online deposit through Stripe; any remaining balance is paid according to the salon's instructions. Client cancellations may automatically trigger a Stripe refund only when the salon's configured refund window is met. Admin cancellations may offer the salon a choice to cancel with or without triggering a Stripe refund when an eligible online payment exists. Expired checkout sessions, failed payments, disputes, refunds, or fulfillment conflicts may leave the booking unconfirmed or under manual review. The salon is usually the controller of booking data and the service provider responsible for performing the salon service and applying its refund/cancellation policy; Styloving provides the software and payment-facilitation workflow.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Use Styloving to hide, disguise, facilitate, or support tax evasion, money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions violations, fraudulent billing, false records, or any other financial crime
- Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation
- Use the AI features to process illegal, harmful, or deceptive content
- Impersonate another person or entity
6. AI-Powered Features
Styloving offers AI-assisted features such as catalog import. When you use them, the relevant content is sent to Anthropic to generate a result. Use AI features only with content you are allowed to share, and review all AI-generated output before saving or publishing it.
7. Intellectual Property
Styloving and its software, design, and brand remain our intellectual property. You keep ownership of the content and business data you upload, and you give us a limited license to host, process, back up, and display that content only as needed to provide the service.
8. Service Availability
We work to keep Styloving available and to announce planned maintenance when practical. Like any online service, downtime, bugs, or third-party outages can happen. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service, but we do work to fix issues and improve reliability.
9. Termination
You can stop using Styloving at any time. If you cancel a paid subscription, cancellation stops future renewal at the end of the current billing period unless the checkout page or applicable law says otherwise. One-time Lifetime Grow purchases do not create a recurring Grow subscription to cancel; if you later add a reduced Pro subscription, that Pro subscription can be cancelled under the normal subscription rules. We may suspend or close accounts for serious breaches, abuse, fraud, security risks, or legal reasons. After account closure, data is generally retained for up to 30 days for recovery, then deleted unless the law requires longer retention.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, lost business opportunities, or similar knock-on damages. We are not responsible for a salon's own business conduct, financial records, tax reporting, payment handling, cash handling, client charges, refunds, chargebacks, deposits, discounts, invoices, salon service delivery, or any illegal, fraudulent, or financial-crime activity carried out by a salon, its owners, staff, contractors, clients, or other third parties, except to the extent the law does not allow such exclusion or the claim arises from Styloving's own proven unlawful conduct. Any such responsibility belongs to the salon and the people involved in that conduct, not to Styloving. Online booking payment amounts, platform fee snapshots, Stripe fee estimates, payout estimates, refunds, and dispute states may change because of Stripe processing, card networks, connected-account status, reversals, chargebacks, currency rules, or manual review. Our total liability for a claim relating to Styloving is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
11. Disclaimers
Styloving is provided as an online software service. Some features may change, and some results, especially AI-generated output, may be incomplete or incorrect. Styloving is not your accountant, tax adviser, legal adviser, compliance officer, or financial-crime monitoring service for your salon's own activity. Where online deposits are enabled, Stripe processes payment details and Styloving provides the Connect platform workflow; the salon remains responsible for the salon service, its payment and refund policies, its legal obligations, Stripe connected-account requirements, and the accuracy of its business records. You are responsible for reviewing important business information before relying on it and for getting professional advice where your business needs it.
12. Privacy
Your use of Styloving is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data, optional cookies, and consent-based marketing tools.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, it will be handled by the competent courts of Brussels, unless mandatory law requires a different forum.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will notify you before it takes effect. If you keep using Styloving after the effective date, the updated Terms will apply.
